Product Description
10% Glucose Injection is a sterile hypertonic aqueous solution of dextrose. It provides high calorie energy, supplements body water and carbohydrate, protects protein consumption, improves ketosis and maintains normal physiological metabolism. Widely used for patients unable to take oral food, postoperative fasting, weak constitution and critical illness energy support.
Indications
- Supplement energy and water for fasting, postoperative and critically ill patients
- Prevention and correction of ketosis and hypoglycemia

- Diluent for compatible intravenous drug infusion

Administration
- Route: Intravenous drip infusion only
- Not for subcutaneous or intramuscular injection
- Infusion rate should be controlled slowly; adjust volume according to patient age, cardiac and renal function, blood glucose level
- Diabetic patients must use under blood glucose monitoring

Storage
