Product Description
Product Description
Dobutamine is a synthetic catecholamine with selective β1‑adrenergic receptor agonist activity. It enhances myocardial contractility, increases cardiac output, improves coronary blood flow, and slightly lowers peripheral vascular resistance. It has stable inotropic effect with less arrhythmia risk, widely used in emergency, cardiology and ICU for acute cardiac insufficiency rescue.
Indications
- Acute heart failure and chronic heart failure acute exacerbation
- Cardiogenic shock
- Low cardiac output syndrome after cardiac surgery
- Myocardial infarction complicated with heart failure
- Temporary cardiac support during critical illness
Administration
For intravenous infusion only, diluted with suitable carrier solution, administered via infusion pump with strictly controlled rate. Dosage adjusted by heart rate, blood pressure and hemodynamic status under close medical monitoring. Not for direct rapid bolus injection.
Product Features
- Standard spec: 12.5mg/mL, 2mL ampoule
- Strong myocardial inotropic effect
- Improve cardiac output without obvious raising heart rate excessively
- Stable hemodynamic performance
- First-line rescue cardiotonic in ICU and emergency
Storage
Store sealed in cool dark place, avoid sunlight, high temperature and freezing. Protect from light during storage and use.
Warnings
- Strictly prescription-only emergency cardiac medicine, must be used in hospital with hemodynamic monitoring.
- Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to dobutamine, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy.
- May cause tachycardia, arrhythmia, hypertension; monitor vital signs continuously.
- Use cautiously in patients with severe hypertension, arrhythmia and coronary artery disease.
- Keep out of reach of children.
