Product Description
Metronidazole is a synthetic nitroimidazole derivative. It has strong activity against anaerobic bacteria and various protozoa. It inhibits microbial DNA synthesis and replication, leading to bactericidal and antiprotozoal effects.
Indications
- Anaerobic bacterial infections of respiratory tract, abdomen, pelvic cavity, skin and soft tissue
- Trichomoniasis
- Amoebic dysentery and amoebic liver abscess
- Giardiasis
- Dental and periodontal anaerobic infections
Directions for Use
Oral administration, swallow whole with water. Can be taken with meals to reduce stomach discomfort. Dose and course according to doctor’s prescription.
