Product Description
Acetylcysteine is a highly effective mucolytic and antioxidant agent. It breaks disulfide bonds in sputum mucoprotein, liquefies thick sticky sputum, makes sputum easy to cough up. It also has strong antioxidant and liver-protective effects, widely used for respiratory sputum obstruction and as emergency antidote for paracetamol poisoning.
Indications
- Thick sticky sputum caused by bronchitis, pneumonia, COPD
- Asthma, bronchiectasis with difficult sputum expectoration
- Postoperative pulmonary complication prevention
- Emergency treatment of paracetamol overdose poisoning
- Lung injury adjuvant treatment and antioxidant protection
Administration
For intravenous injection/infusion, or nebulized inhalation under medical guidance. Dosage adjusted by age, weight and disease condition.
