Product Description
Nimodipine is a selective dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker, with high affinity for cerebral blood vessels. It dilates cerebral arteries, relieves cerebral vasospasm, improves cerebral microcirculation and ischemic brain tissue perfusion, reduces neuronal calcium overload, and protects brain nerve cells from ischemic injury. Infusion formulation for intravenous use, stable concentration, reliable clinical effect in neurology and neurosurgery.
Indications
- Prevention and treatment of cerebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage
- Adjuvant treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular disease
- Improve neurological deficits caused by cerebral ischemia
- Brain protection during neurosurgical perioperative period
Administration
For continuous intravenous infusion only. Administered via infusion pump with strictly controlled flow rate. Dosage and infusion duration adjusted by doctor according to patient condition, blood pressure and neurological status. Not for rapid bolus injection.

Storage
Store in cool dark place, sealed, avoid direct sunlight, high temperature and freezing. Protect from strong light during storage and infusion.
Warnings
- Prescription-only injectable medicine, must be used under neurological/neurosurgical medical supervision.
- Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to nimodipine or ingredients.
- Monitor blood pressure and heart rate during infusion; may cause hypotension, headache, flushing.
- Use cautiously in patients with severe hepatic and renal impairment.
- Keep out of reach of children.
