20% Fat Emulsion Injection is a sterile stable lipid emulsion for intravenous infusion. It provides high-density calories and essential unsaturated fatty acids, prevents essential fatty acid deficiency, saves body protein consumption, and meets the energy nutritional needs of critically ill, postoperative and fasting patients. The particle size is close to natural chylomicrons, with good compatibility and safe intravenous metabolism.

Indications

  • Preoperative, postoperative and critically ill parenteral nutrition
  • Patients with unable to eat orally, gastrointestinal dysfunction
  • Long-term fasting, severe trauma, burn and wasting disease
  • Supplement essential fatty acids and prevent fatty acid deficiency
  • Combined with amino acid and glucose for total parenteral nutrition (TPN)

Administration

  • Only for intravenous drip infusion
  • Suitable for peripheral vein or central vein infusion

Storage
