Product Description
Finerenone is a selective, nonsteroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist (MRA). It reduces mineralocorticoid receptor overactivation, alleviates renal inflammation and fibrosis, and provides dual renal and cardiovascular protection in patients with type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease.
It lowers the risk of sustained eGFR decline, end-stage kidney disease, cardiovascular death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, and heart failure hospitalization.
Indications
Treatment of chronic kidney disease associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus in adult patients.
Directions for Use
Oral administration, swallow whole with water. 20 mg once daily, with or without food. Take consistently at the same time each day. Do not crush, chew or split tablets. Follow physician’s prescription and monitor potassium regularly.

Warnings
- Monitor serum potassium levels before and during treatment.
