Product Description
Piroxicam is a long-acting non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, exerting obvious anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects. The injection formulation takes effect rapidly, with long duration of action, widely used clinically for inflammatory and painful diseases.
Indications
- Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis
- Acute musculoskeletal pain, joint swelling and inflammation
- Soft tissue injury, sprain and strain pain
- Postoperative pain relief and inflammatory swelling
- Acute gouty arthritis adjuvant treatment
Administration
For intramuscular injection only. To be administered strictly by medical personnel according to doctor’s dosage and treatment course.
