Product Description

Ciprofloxacin Lactate belongs to the second-generation fluoroquinolones. It inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, blocks bacterial DNA replication and transcription, showing strong bactericidal activity against most Gram-negative and partial Gram-positive bacteria. Intravenous infusion form has rapid absorption, wide tissue distribution, stable curative effect for moderate to severe bacterial infections.

Indications

  • Respiratory tract infections: bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis
  • Urinary tract and reproductive system infections
  • Gastrointestinal and biliary tract bacterial infections
  • Skin, soft tissue and joint bone infections
  • Abdominal pelvic infection and septicemia
  • Perioperative antibacterial prophylaxis

Administration

Only for intravenous drip infusion. Infuse slowly, do not use rapid intravenous bolus.
 
Dosage and treatment course depend on infection severity, patient age and renal function, follow doctor’s order strictly.

Warnings
