Product Description
Iopamidol is a non-ionic, low-osmolar iodinated contrast medium. It features low chemical toxicity, low vascular irritation and low allergic reaction rate. With stable water solubility and good tissue compatibility, it provides clear imaging effect for radiological examinations, widely used in radiology, cardiology and intervention departments.
Indications
- Computed Tomography (CT) enhanced scanning
- Peripheral angiography, cerebral angiography, coronary angiography
- Intravenous urography
- Arthrography, myelography and cavity radiography
- Interventional radiology and cardiovascular interventional procedures
Administration
Administered by intravenous injection or infusion, arterial injection for angiography. Dosage depends on examination type, patient age, weight and renal function. Pre-examination allergy assessment and clinical monitoring are required.

Storage

- Contraindicated in iodine hypersensitivity, severe thyroid dysfunction.
- Strictly cautious in renal insufficiency, heart failure, elderly and pregnant patients.
- Adequate hydration before and after examination to reduce renal burden.
- Emergency resuscitation equipment should be available during administration.
