Product Description
Ceftriaxone is a long-acting third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, has strong bactericidal activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It features long half-life, once daily administration, good tissue and blood-brain barrier penetration, stable curative effect for moderate to severe bacterial infections.
Indications
- Respiratory tract infections: pneumonia, bronchitis, tonsillitis
- Urinary and reproductive system infections
- Abdominal, biliary and pelvic infections
- Meningitis and intracranial bacterial infection
- Skin, soft tissue, bone and joint infections
- Septicemia and perioperative antibacterial prophylaxis
- Typhoid and other susceptible bacterial systemic infections
Administration
Reconstitute with sterile water for injection or normal saline. For
intramuscular injection or intravenous drip infusion.
Once daily routine dosage, adjust according to age, weight and infection severity under doctor’s order.
