Product Description
Pemetrexed Disodium is a multi-target antifolate antineoplastic agent. It inhibits key enzymes involved in folate metabolism and nucleic acid synthesis, blocks cancer cell proliferation, and induces tumor cell apoptosis. As a broad-spectrum chemotherapy drug with relatively mild tolerance, it is widely used in first-line, second-line and maintenance treatment of thoracic malignancies.
Indications
- Malignant pleural mesothelioma
- Locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer
- Maintenance therapy after first-line chemotherapy
- Combined regimen treatment of related solid tumors
Administration
- Route: Intravenous infusion only
- Reconstitute with sterile solvent, further dilute with infusion solution before use
- Infusion time over 10 minutes
- Dosage calculated by body surface area; strictly administered under oncologist supervision
- Supplement with folic acid and vitamin B12 to reduce adverse reactions
