This product is an oral antimalarial combination tablet containing Sulfadoxine/Pyrimethamine 175mg and Amodiaquine 75mg per tablet. It combines two classes of antimalarial agents: (a) a long-acting sulfonamide antifolate combination (sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine), and (b) a 4-aminoquinoline derivative (amodiaquine). The combination of two agents with complementary mechanisms of action is designed to provide effective antimalarial activity while also reducing the risk of parasite resistance development. The product is formulated as film-coated tablets for convenient oral administration.
