Product Description
Metronidazole is a highly effective antibiotic with strong activity against anaerobic bacteria and various protozoa. It inhibits microbial nucleic acid synthesis to exert bactericidal and insecticidal effects. Indications
- Systemic infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria
- Abdominal, pelvic, respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue anaerobic infections
- Septicemia, postoperative anaerobic bacterial infection prevention & treatment
- Amoebic dysentery and extraintestinal amoebiasis
- Trichomoniasis, giardiasis and other protozoal infections
- Combined therapy for mixed bacterial infections
Administration
Administered by slow intravenous drip only. Dosage and infusion frequency depend on patient age, body weight and infection severity, strictly follow medical prescription.
