Mixed Protamine Human Insulin 30R is a sterile suspension containing a fixed mixture of 30% soluble (regular) human insulin and 70% protamine isophane (NPH) human insulin, intended for subcutaneous injection. It is an intermediate-acting biphasic insulin that provides both rapid prandial (meal-time) glucose control from the regular component and extended basal (background) glucose control from the NPH component.
